OUR MISSION
One Breath for CF is dedicated to raising critical funds and awareness to support the life changing work of the Cystic Fibrosis Clinic at The Children’s Hospital Westmead.
Through our support we aim to ensure children and families living with Cystic Fibrosis have access to world standard holistic clinical care.
Together we aim to breathe hope into the lives of all affected by Cystic Fibrosis and build a future in which every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Twenty years ago, most children diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis did not live into adulthood. Now, thanks to good research and excellent clinical care, most children with Cystic Fibrosis do live to be adults who can hope to have a rewarding and productive young adult life.
There is, however, no cure, and this weighs heavily on the emotional health of children, teenagers, parents and the healthcare team.
Their fight is silent.
